Ambient with a iPad

Welcome back to my musical nook. Today I’m sharing a new ambient sketch. The main reason was to test a new iOS app I've been developing.

Crafting the Core Sound

The main pad of the track is a lush violin sample, looped seamlessly in my new iOS app (more on that later). This foundation sets a serene yet profound tone, enveloping the listener in a continuous wave of harmony.

Adding Depth and Detail

The second layer introduces a bell-like sound, played through a MIDI track sent to my laptop. This juxtaposition creates a dialogue between the digital and the acoustic.

Looping with Innovation

The third track features more string loops, looped through my iOS app (still don’t know what I am calling it). This not only illustrates the app’s potential but also enhances the track's emotive depth.

Join the Revolution

If you are into this kind of stuff make sure you sign up to know when my app goes live and embark on this revolutionary journey with me.

Apps and Tools in Action:

  • My own iOS app (for sample playback and looping)

  • MIDI controllers for live input

  • Various effects for depth and texture

Catch you in the next post, where we'll dive deeper into the capabilities of my iOS app and its reason for creation! 🎻📱🎶
